Managing Your inbound Calls

We continue to enhance the Switchboard product so that you can better manage your inbound calls and track your sales and marketing.

We have added three new features that should help you gain more business and make the most of your inbound phone calls and sales inquires.

Caller Prioritisation

As I'm sure many of you will have read, 80% of your sales come from 20% of your customers. So it is important to give your best customers the service and care they deserve.

To help you do this, we have added a Caller prioritisation feature. Simply add your best customer to the new phone book feature and tick the priority tick box. Once you have done this, the system will recognise these numbers as your "preferred customer" and instantly sends theses calls to the front of your call Queue ensuring your best customers are not kept waiting.

Caller Block

As well as having our best customers, we also have a few customers that we would rather not accept calls from. With this in mind, you can add your "not so good" customer to the "blacklist"; under the new address book and send these customers straight to voice mail! You will still get their message, but it will be up to you as to when you decide to deal with these customers! Again a really useful feature for fielding theses "time bandits"

Address Book

Add your regular customer to the new address book. Give their number a name, which we will then use in place of their phone number on Missed call alerts and voice mails, making it easy to indentify theses regular callers! If you use the recently added missed call alert by SMS then you will also see just who the missed call was from.

These three new features are available as standard for all Bronze account holders. If you would like to upgrade your account at any time just log on to your account and click on the upgrade tab and select the upgrade to a Bronze account!
