Now More Landline Destinations Available!
We have now made a huge improvement to our switchboard service by providing an increased number of landline destinations. There are now FIVE destinations for your 0844 number to be directed to, instead of the previously available three. This means that the switchboard service can now become a great money saving tool for larger companies with more varied requirements.
It is now especially useful for companies who have employees who work from home. The extra landlines really do make the service more adaptable to the ever changing needs of your business!
Problems for Internet Phone Line Users Have Now Been Reduced
Using a broadband connection (VOIP) to reduce your telephone bills is a great new way to save your company money but it can cause a few problems too!
The InstantSwitchboard service automatically rings a number for a maximum of 24 seconds, after this time if the phone is not picked up, the switchboard diverts onto the next landline number you have chosen. The problem with broadband telephone users is that the telephone doesn't usually ring within this time period which results in the caller eventually terminating the call and an alert will be sent to you notifying you of a missed call.
Now broadband telephone users (VOIP) can choose the type of line they use on their account settings and the InstantSwitchboard service will automatically increase the period of time above the normal 24 seconds so the phone can be answered without generating missed call alerts.
Added Flexibility During Holiday Periods
Now with a simple mouse click to tick a 'box', your telephone number can be closed during holiday periods. This is a great addition to our 'easy to use' website and i'm sure will become a very popular tool purely because of its simplicity.
